Dr. Jonathan Riddel is a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice in Southlake, Texas, offering in-person therapy in Southlake and virtual sessions for clients throughout Texas. He works with adults navigating anxiety, panic, depression, burnout, stress, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. His approach integrates evidence-based therapy with an existential foundation—combining practical strategies for symptom relief with deeper exploration of meaning, identity, freedom, and personal growth.

Dr. Riddel completed his PhD in Counseling at Texas A&M University–Commerce. He also holds a B.A. from Baylor University and both a B.A. in Psychology and an M.S. in Counseling from the University of North Texas. During his graduate training he was inducted into Chi Sigma Iota, the international counseling honor society, and became a member of the American Counseling Association, American Psychological Association, and American Mensa.

In addition to his private practice, Dr. Riddel serves as Director of Counseling for a nonprofit organization based in Richardson. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys film, baseball, and spending time with his family.
